Documenting my surroundings has been my way of processing change—a way to trace the ongoing creation of memories within a place while deepening my connection to my environment and myself. Inspired by the saying “the only constant is change,” this project reflects my journey of relocation and reinvention: moving to a new country, navigating the integration into a new city and culture, and embracing the start of a new chapter in life.

Having moved several times, I’ve found that while outwardly adapting to change becomes easier, each move leaves a distinct mark—a life left behind and another just beginning. Each transition brings new experiences and subtle shifts in my sense of reality.

This project immortalizes my time in Graz, Austria, where I lived for a while. It never felt permanent—and it wasn’t. At the time, I didn’t realize I was about to move again. Through this work, I explore the duality of seeking both stability and adventure, the tension between wanting to settle and needing to move on. What was it about Graz that didn’t feel like home? I am still searching for the answer in these photographs.
